Guardian of Water and Intelligence has 45 stages across one course. Sailor Mercury (Manga Design) is unlocked, with a maximum level of 3, after beating Stage 27 with at least 70 stars collected. In order to upgrade Sailor Mercury (Manga Design) to a maximum level of 5, Stage 45 must be beaten with at least 135 stars collected.

• Guardian of Water and Intelligence was the first star collection event to feature the Star Challenge, in which the player is given the option to pay 8 in order to play an easy puzzle to get the third star on stages in which the player only received two stars.
